Grand Seiko has expanded its offering of women’s watches with a new addition to their Elegance Collection- the stunning Grand Seiko STGK011. It offers both sophisticated modern technology and gorgeous aesthetics.

Grand Seiko STGK011 Case

The case is made of dual-curved sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, ensuring a high level of durability and legibility. The anti-reflective coating on the inner surface of the container gives the watch a shiny look. The mirror finish of the case was created using Grand Seiko’s proprietary polishing techniques.

The long flowing lines on this stainless steel case are seamless and shiny. It is 30.6mm × 12.7mm with no bezel.

Grand Seiko STGK011 Movement

This timepiece has the Japanese marque’s in-house Calibre 9S27 movement, a self-winding mechanism with 50 hours of power reserve that beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour. This limited edition automatic caliber was built specifically for women’s watches. The driving system of the 9S mechanical automatic has a power reserve of approximately 50 hours and an accuracy rate of +8 seconds to -3 seconds per day.

The new caliber 9S27 has an operating frequency of 28,800 vph and is only 4.49mm thick. This watch strikes the difficult and delicate balance between exceptional productivity and lightness. With a precision rate of +8 to -3 seconds a day, its output is outstanding.

Grand Seiko STGK011 Dial

Two lines of diamonds frame the dial. The diamonds sparkle in the light, creating a beautiful piece of art. The dial of the Grand Seiko STGK011 is white in color and offers a fine texture. The stormy purple color of this mother of pearl variant is regarded as a status symbol in Japan. When rotating the watch one can see different looks from all angles due to the constantly shifting nature of light.

The dial consists of numerals and the date window is at 3 o'clock. The date window has a reflective metal frame that suits the quality of the watch and retains the overall effect.

Grand Seiko STGK011 Bracelet

The stainless steel case is complemented by a conforming stainless steel bracelet, which includes a three-fold clasp and push-button release. The stunning diamond set form is certainly something new for the brand and strongly diversifies the women’s collection.

The shiny bracelet with diamonds paired with the silver case gives the watch a truly magnificent look. The weight of the watch is 84.0g with 40 diamonds that weigh almost .41 carats each.

Water Resistance

There is a shiny lubricant applied on the indexes and hands, strengthened by 100m of water resistance. Each movement is manufactured, assembled, and balanced by hand. The new Spron 610 alloy is used by MEMS engineering for the balance spring.

The pallet bridge and automatic shutdown wheel are made in house and each watch is assigned to a rigorous 17-day testing procedure. Grand Seiko STGK011 is manufactured in Japan and comes in its original packaging with a three year guarantee.
